The 3rd annual Alfred State Drive for the Development Fund Golf Tournament will be held June 16th at Twin Hickory Golf Club. Registration begins at 9 a.m. and a the tournament will have a shotgun start at 10 a.m.
This all-day event will feature a captain and crew format, exciting contests (longest drive, closest to the pin, etc.) on the course, food on the course, a dinner (held at the Main Place in Hornell) after the golf is completed, and great awards, prizes, and raffles.
Participation, as either a player or a sponsor, in this event will make a difference in the lives of all Alfred State students by providing financial assistance through the college's Development Fund. The development fund provides scholarships, supports amazing projects, enables students to compete in prestigious collegiate competitions, helps Alfred State offer civic engagement opportunities, and supports the college's 18 (19 starting in 2017-18) intercollegiate athletic teams.
The tournament costs $100 per person or $400 for a foursome. The entry fee covers the greens fee, continental breakfast, food & beverages on the course, dinner, and prizes after the tournament.
Sponsorship opportunities for the tournament range from $150 to $2,500. Donation of prizes for the awards dinner and raffle will also be accepted.

The post tournament dinner will be held at The Main Place (251 Main St., Hornell, NY 14843). Tickets for the dinner are available are $20.
