The Alfred State volleyball team's season came to an end following a 25-18, 25-18, 25-19 loss to Finlandia (MI) in the American Collegiate Athletic Association (ACAA) semifinals. The Pioneers close the season with a 9-12 overall record.

The Pioneers never led in the 3rd set but a 7-1 run in the middle of the set by the Finlandia pushed the lead out. The blue and gold did go on a 7-0 run to cut the lead to two, 19-17, but could not get any closer.
