    The Alfred State wrestling teams battled tough but fell twice as they opened up 2013 at the Alfred State Duals. They opened the day with a 27-24 loss to Penn College of Technology and then fell 42-16 to Bergen (NJ) CC.

    Fueled by three forfeit victories in the first five matches, Mercyhurst North East jumnped to a 25-0 lead en route to a 37-16 WNYAC dual meet victory over Alfred State. The Pioneers finish the 2012 portion of their season with a 1-3 overall mark and a 1-2 WNYAC record.
