Pioneers Race Past Medaille JV

Five Pioneers scored in double figures as the Alfred State men's basketball team defeated Medaille JV 83-64 in their final non-conference game of the season.  The Pioneers are now 9-14 on the season.

Marquis Chatman (Allen, TX) hit 5-three-pointers and led the blue & gold with 16 points.  Adam Fezza (Southhampton) finished with 14, Tommy Hutson (Brooklyn/Susan McKinney) and Cristian Santana (Harlem Village Academy) both chipped in 12, and Jamar White (Laurel, MD) finished with 11.

The Pioneers connected on 10 three-pointers in the contest and held a 44-35 lead at half.

The blue & gold host Monroe CC on Saturday at 1 p.m. as they begin their stretch of five straight WNYAC contests to close out the season.
