Basketball Team to Host Free Clinic

The Alfred State men's basketball team will be hosting a free Buddy Basketball Clinic during the month of February.  The three days of clinics will culminate with a halftime show at the Pioneers game vs. Jamestown CC on February 23rd.

The clinic will start on Feb. 3rd and will run Feb. 10th and Feb. 17th from 2 - 3:30 p.m. at the Orvis Activities Center.  The clinic is free to the first 70 registrants.  Registrants are asked to bring one (1) canned good or $1 a day to be donated to a local food pantry.

The clinics focus around a seven station improvement cycle in which participants will work on ball handlilng, shooting, halftime routine, conditioning, Say No To Drugs, passing, and defense.

The clinic is for boys and girls in kindergarten to 6th grade.  Each participant will receive a free t-shirt courtesy of ACES and a basketball.
