    Pioneers End Season with Victory The Alfred State baseball team entered the final day of the regular season needing a win and some help from Corning CC to make the Region III Division III playoffs. The Pioneers took care of their part by defeating Jamestown CC 10-9 in the completion of a suspended game but Finger Lakes CC defeated Corning twice to wrap up the final spot in the postseason.

    Pioneers Split with Thunderwolves The Alfred State baseball team rallied from a five-run deficit to defeat Niagara CCC 10-8 in the opener but NCCC used three big innings to win the nightcap 13-5. The Pioneers are now 20-28 overall on the season and 16-13 in Region III Division III play.

The Kats rallied from a 3-0 deficit to win game one 5-3 while the Pioneers rallied from a 4-0 deficit in the nightcap to win 6-5.

Montgomery (PA) County CC took and early lead and never looked back in a 9-3 victory in the nightcap.
