Men's Basketball: 8-14, 1-8 WNYAC
The Pioneers were 1-2 this past week. The team received solid efforts from a trio of Pioneers. Jamar White (Laurel, MD) averaged 10.7 ppg while Marquis Chatman (Allen, TX) and Adam Fezza (Southhampton) each averaged 10.3 ppg and 6.3 rpg.
In the Pioneers victory vs. JCC-Olean, the team hit 11 three-pointers. For the week the team connected on 21 from beyond the three-point arc.

Women's Basketball: 13-7, 5-2 Region III Division II
The Lady Pioneers split a pair of Region III Division II contests and had an non-conference game vs. Roberts Wesleyan JV postponed due to poor weather/bus troubles.
Haley Witchella (Oxford Academy) led the team with 15 ppg and 10 rpg while Eleasha Wiggins (Brooklyn/Bedford Academy) averaged 11 ppg and 7 rpg. Destiny Brito (Manhattan/Park West) scored 10 points, grabbed 13 rebounds, and passed out 13 assists.

Indoor Track & Field: Two New School Records, Two Qualify for Nationals
The Pioneers had two athletes set new school records and qualify for the NJCAA Indoor National Championships over the weekend as athletes competed at the Brockport Invitational and the Ithaca/Region III Multi.
Desmond Chambers (Rochester/Gates Chili) won the long jump with a leap of 7.26 m (23'10"). His performance earned him a spot at the NJCAA National Championships held March 1-2 at Texas Tech University. His mark also establishes a new school record which was previously held by Wenley Louis (7.10 m). Chambers was also 4th in the 60m dash (7.16) and was part of the 4x200 relay team of that was 6th in 1:34.52.
Travis Nagle (Randolph) won the Region III heptathlon competition with 4,321 points. His mark breaks the school record he set last year and is ranked #4 in the country currently. His leap of 4.35 m in the pole vault not only scored him solid points in the event but it qualified him for the NJCAA National Championships in early March. Frankie Bailey (Rochester/John Marshall) was 2nd with 3,819 points and Dane Dechow (Randolph) was 3rd with 3,471 points.
In the women's pentathlon, Ella Donovan (Wanakea/Clifton-Fine) finished 1st with 1,394 points followed by Brooke Kratzer (Canisteo Greenwood) in 2nd with 1,224 points.
At Brockport, the men's team finished in 5th place overall out of 13 division III college teams. The solid results at the Region III multi give the Pioneers an early lead in the regional championship standings heading into the rest of regionals on Feb. 15th.

Wrestling: 2-7, 2-4 WNYAC
The Pioneers fell 35-12 to Mercyhurst North East as they wrapped up their regular season. Tyler Aldinger (Alexander) won 9-6, Conner Fox (Midlakes) earned a pin, and Travis Harvey (Alfred Almond) earned a 6-4 victory to account for the Pioneers scoring.
